Elizabeth Burke Bryant To Leave RI Kids Count

The only director in the history of the nonprofit child advocacy group Rhode Island Kids Count is planning to step down.

Elizabeth Burke Bryant has held the position for nearly three decades.

The board chair of RI Kids Count says Bryant has been one of the great champions in the Ocean State for the well being of children and their families.

Bryant has her law degree from George Washington University.

She has not talked about future plans.

A search for a successor is underway.
