Celtics Open Season With Impressive Win

The Boston Celtics opened the regular season with a 126 to 117 victory over the visiting Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden.

The teams were tied at halftime, but the Celtics took a ten point lead entering the fourth quarter and cruised to the victory.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown each scored 35 points to lead Boston.

This was the first NBA win for interim Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla, who is filling in for the suspended Ime Udoka.
