Governor Dan McKee's has announced that January 23rd will be the official opening date for the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center.
The hub will host MBTA commuter trains and RIPTA buses, located on Pine Street in Pawtucket.
The original opening was planned for last summer.
McKee says the new station will add to the quality of life in the Blackstone Valley and dramatically-expand transit options for Rhode Islanders and people visiting the state, while also expanding economic development opportunities in the area.
