Bruins Beat Rangers In New York

The Bruins' winning streak is up to four games after Boston topped the Rangers 3-1 at Madison Square Garden.

The B's got out to an early lead after Pavel Zacha found the back of the net a little more than a minute into the game.

Patrice Bergeron doubled the Bruins' lead after scoring his 17th goal of the season in the second period.

Boston scored another early goal in the third period after Connor Clifton ripped one past Rangers' goalie Igor Shesterkin.

Jeremy Swayman's shutout streak came to an end after Ben Harpur scored his first goal as a Ranger.

New York is third in the Metropolitan Division with 57 points.

Boston leads the NHL with 76 points.

Bruins hit the ice Sunday when they play San Jose at TD Garden.
