Sox Pitchers Off To Slow Start In Loss To Pirates

The Pirates got a huge performance from their star player during a 7-6 win over the Red Sox in Boston.

Bryan Reynolds crushed a pair of solo homers and went three-for-five at the plate.

The center fielder has three homers so far this season.

Jason Delay also launched a solo shot while Canaan Smith-Njigba drove in a pair of runs.

David Bednar shut the door on Boston in the ninth as Pittsburgh improved to 2-and-2.

Rafael Devers, Tristan Casas and Masataka Yoshida each homered for the Sox, who are now 2-and-2.

Same two teams will meet tonight at Fenway.
