Sox Head Into Detroit Looking For Consistency

The Red Sox were swept for the first time this season after falling 4-1 in their finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Fenway Park.

Corey Kluber suffered his second loss of the year after allowing one run on three hits over five innings of work.

Christian Arroyo drove in the only run of the game for the Sox with an RBI single in the seventh inning.

Boston is now last in the AL East at 2-and-4 and will look to snap its three-game skid when it visits the Detroit Tigers this afternoon.

Chris Sale goes to the hill for Boston.

He will be opposed by Spencer Turnbull. Manager Alex Cora says that the Sox have to pay more attention to the small details that is most often the difference between winning or not.
