Bruins Take Early Lead In First Stanley Cup Playoff Series

The Boston Bruins have opened their 2023 playoffs with a 3-to-1 victory over the Florida Panthers at TD Garden.

The Bruins won the Presidents' Trophy for having the league's best record, and also set NHL full season records for wins and points heading into the postseason.

Boston continued their winning ways last night, with Brad Marchand scoring his 50th career playoff goal to lead the way.

This is an off day for the series.

Game two of the best-of-seven series is tomorrow night in Boston.
