New Poll Of State Residents On Assault Weapons

A new poll found 85-percent of Democrats and 66-percent of independents likely to vote in a Democratic primary in Rhode Island support a proposed ban on military-style assault weapons.

The Boston Globe reported 400 eligible and likely Democratic primary voters were questioned between May 30th, and June 3rd.

The poll did not include Republican voters.
