Rhode Island State Senator Charged With "Keying" Car In Shopping Plaza

A Cranston State Senator is free on bail on charges that he allegedly keyed a car at the Garden City Shopping Center on Thursday.

According to police, two men told them that they went inside of the center and when they returned, they found that the car had been “keyed”. It was unclear as to what exactly caused the incident, but it may have been a dispute over presidential politics.

State Senator Josua Miller, who is 69 has been charged, has pleaded not guilty and is free on a thousand dollars bail.

He will be back in court on July 18.

An attorney says there will be no comment until after the court proceedings.
