Pawtucket is postponing the "Final Inning" celebration at McCoy Stadium that was scheduled for tonight because of the chance of bad weather.
The celebration includes the final fireworks show for the stadium that opened on July 4, 1942.
The city has plans to demolish the old ballpark and build a high school on the site.
Tonight's event has been rescheduled for July 16th.
