Former Tonight Show host Jay Leno will be honored in Rhode Island.
The part-time Newport resident will be inducted into the Rhode Island Italian-American Hall of Fame during a benefit performance of his stand-up comedy this fall.
Funds raised will go to the organization's scholarship fund for exceptional college-bound students in the state from all ethnic backgrounds.
The event is set for September 27th, at the Providence Performing Arts Center.
