Woodsocket Police say a 52 year old man is dead after allegedly shooting his wife in an attempted murder suicide.
Police were called to a house on Fairmoutn Street early this morning. When they arrived they found the man dead and a woman shot and injured.
Officials say Walter Lopez shot his 34 year old wife in the thigh. She was last listed in serious condition.
Two other people were inside of the home but were not hurt.
No additional information is being released at this time.
