State Task Force Arrest Man On Gun And Drug Charges

A 30-year-old Pawtucket man has been arrested on drug and firearms charges following an investigation by a statewide Task Force.

Angelo Lorenzo was allegeldy distributing drugs throughout the greater Providence area at the time of his arrest.

According to investigators, Lorenzo was arrested with approximately 75 grams of fentanyl, 36 grams of crack cocaine, a loaded Springfield Armory .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a Romarm Cugir Mini-Draco AK-47 pistol, a Taurus G2C 9mm semi-automatic pistol, extended magazines, drum-style extended magazines, narcotics distribution materials, and approximately $4,000 in cash.

Officials tell us there will likely be more arrests in connection with the same probe.
