Military Heroes Honored By Governor

The governor held a ceremonial bill signing to honor veterans in South Kingstown.

Three state bridges on Route 108 and U.S. 1A will be named after Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.

They are: James Babcock, who served in the Army during the Civil War, Grant Fournier, who fought for the Army in World War 2, and David Champagne, a Korean War Marine.

The bill signing was part of South Kingstown's 300th anniversary celebration.
