State Resident Sentanced In Drug Case

A Rhode Island man is being sentenced to seven years in federal prison.

According to the U.S. Justice Department in Massachusetts, Nathan Boddie of Pawtucket pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

Boddie allegedly used the U.S. mail system to send drugs that were hidden in things like Halloween decorations and children's toys.

Investigators last year seized about two pounds of meth and thousands of counterfeit pills containing fentanyl.
