Cocaine In Carryon Sees Arrest At TF Green

A man is being detained after his arrest at T.F. Green Airport last week on federal drug-trafficking charges.

The Justice Department says Richard Novas from Bronx, New York had nearly thirty pounds of cocaine in his carry-on bag.

Novas was flying back from the Dominican Republic.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection recognized Novas as allegedly being linked to a suspect arrested at JFK Airport in New York two years ago who was carrying a similar amount of cocaine in a wheelchair.
