Providence Police believe two people killed in a shooting over the weekend were likely targeted.
Twenty-nine-year-old Brian Fernandez and Sreylakh Ros, 30, of Pawtucket were found dead in a vehicle on Hathaway Street just after midnight Saturday.
Police say they do not believe the shooting involved a drive-by; they also noted drugs were found at the scene, but do not know if this had anything to do with the crime.
Authorities say they are making progress in the ongoing investigation.
