A fire in a multi-family home in Pawtucket on Wednesday has claimed the life of an elderly woman.
The blaze broke out in the Cole Street home at around 10:30 a.m.
Firefighters removed three people from the building, but the victim, described as being 83 years old and wheelchair-bound, died.
Her name has not been released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
