RI DOT Reducing Service Ahead Of Newest Storm

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation has announced the Bristol-Providence ferry service will be reduced to this morning only, due to the anticipated high winds that accompany the latest winter storm.

RIDOT announced on social media that the last ferry will leave Bristol at 9:30 am, with the final departure of the day from Providence at 10:15 a.m.

This will allow ferry operators to dock their vessels safely.

Wednesday's ferry service is expected to be canceled.
