Cranston Ready For Improvements At Two Intersections

Cranston has committed to upgrades and design improvements at two major intersections in the city.

Mayor Ken Hopkins' office has announced the hiring of Pare Corporation to make a study of the Park Avenue-Budlong Road and Dyer Avenue-Cranston Street intersections.

The Lincoln-based firm will consider lane configuration and assignments, as well as signal timing and related improvements.

The project will cost just over 92-thousand-dollars.

Mayor Hopkins says once the assessment is complete, the city put the process up for bid.
