Providence Parking Ban Ends- Hundreds Of Cars Towed During Storm

Providence officials say hundreds of illegally parked cars had to be towed during Tuesday's storm.

A parking ban was put in place from midnight to 5 am, to assist snow removal crews.

Councilor Justin Roias, who represents the North End of the city says many constituents don't know where to park their cars, and he is working on a proposal to require the city to provide a list of locations where vehicles may be stored during a ban.

City Officials say they don't make any money on any of the towed vehicles.
