Some 17 Year Olds Ready To Cast Votes

Some 17-year-old Rhode Island residents will be able to vote in the state's primary election, under a new law.

Secretary of State Gregg Amore says those who will turn 18 by November 5th, 2024 may vote in the Rhode Island Primary.

March 3rd is the deadline to register to vote and update voter information, including party affiliation if required to participate.

The primary takes place on April 2nd.
