NP Police Ask Residents To Register Security Cams

Police in North Providence are asking residents and property owners who own surveillance cameras to assist them in fighting crime.

The city's Camera Registration Program would allow police to know where cameras are located.

The department will not connect directly to cameras, but police could ask owners to check their equipment for any activity during specific dates and times.
