Suspects Face Judge In Providence Murder

The second of two suspects connected to the murder of a woman in Providence appeared in court on Monday.

Thirty-five-year-old Dusti Turner is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy in the death of Katherine Gascoigne.

The 35-year-old Turner was being held at the ACI on unrelated charges, and no plea was entered.

Her alleged accomplice, 34-year-old Aja Lovett faces the same counts.

Gascoigne, who was 30, had not been seen since last November; her body was recovered from the Woonasquatucket River last Thursday.

The cause of death has not been determined.

Turner and Lovett remain held without bail.
