Woman Leaps To Safety From Burning Lincoln Home

A fire in Lincoln on Monday has left three families homeless.

The blaze was reported at a multi-family building on Bouvier Avenue just after 2:30 pm. Manville Fire Chief Robert Bradley reported the top two floors of the building were a quote, "fireball."

One woman who lived on an upper floor jumped to safety and was hospitalized with a leg injury.

Two more residents were treated for minor burns.

The home has been declared a total loss.

Six residents are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
