Cocaine, Pot And Thousands Of Dollars Seized In Providence Raid

Another big take down for the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Dug Trafficking Task Force--arresting two men on charged with moving large amounts of drugs throughout the state.

During this investigation, over eight (8) kilograms of cocaine, narcotics distribution materials, kilogram press equipment and over $38,000 in United currency was seized.

Officials say they followed through with search warrants for addresses on Hawkins Street and Cheshire Street in Providence where they arrested:

Aneurys Javier Santana, age 31, of 79 Hawkins Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Possession

of Cocaine in Excess of 1 kilogram 2) Possession with Intent to Deliver of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance – Cocaine 3) Controlled Substance Conspiracy.

Derian Moreno Herrera, age 26, of 79 Hawkins Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Possession of Cocaine in Excess of 1 kilogram 2) Possession with Intent to Deliver of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance – Cocaine 3) Controlled Substance Conspiracy.

Both men are being held without the right to bail.
