A man wanted in connection with last week's kidnapping attempt against a child in Providence has been arrested.
Forty-five-year-old Marc Pierre was taken into custody by police in Fall River on Monday.
Pierre is wanted in connection with the incident last week on Nashua Street-a ten-year-old girl was grabbed by a man matching Pierre's description, but she escaped before he could pull her into a waiting van.
It is not known what specific charges Pierre will face.
