Amazon Wants To Re-Do Johnston Tax Agreement

Amazon is seeking to renegotiate its tax agreement with Johnston, regarding a new warehouse facility.

Construction and opening of the sorting facility on Hartford Avenue has been pushed back several times.

Amazon officials say they will adhere to the latest deadline of the end of 2024 but want to revise the Tax Stabilization Agreement or TSA.

Town Council will hold a public hearing on March 28th to consider the proposal.
