Flooding Concerns Hit Statewide

Flooding is the main concern headed for today, as an additional one to two inches of rain is expected atop the recent precipitation.

The National Weather Service has posted Flood Warnings for the Pawtuxet, Pawcatuck, Taunton, and Wood Rivers, along with a Coastal Flood Advisory which is in effect until 7 a.m.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect through 2 p.m., with gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour.

A mix of rain, snow, and sleet is anticipated across northern sections.
